Out with the 90’s and hello new light and bight modern vibes.
This project “House with a view” was so much fun. Nothing structural needed to be done, simply gut everything on this stunning main floor and give it a face light. Gone with all the clutter of 90’s decor and colors.

The 12’ - 14’ ceilings and approximately 3000 square feet that stretched the whole main floor called for everything to be extra large. Painting the ceilings, window trim, baseboard and walls all the same color Vanilla Milkshake OC-59 (my go to white) make the eye focus on the stunning view though all the windows.

House with a View

This project was a huge transformation.

Maintaining the kitchen footprint as it was required careful planning and execution to ensure a seamless integration with the existing Cherry hardwood floors. By keeping the layout intact, we avoided the need to feather the original flooring, which has been beautifully sanded down and clear coated to enhance its natural warmth and brightness. This approach allows the kitchen to retain its functional flow while harmonizing with the vibrant aesthetic of the main floor.

Walls received a much-needed update with a fresh coat of paint, moving away from the outdated yellow and beige palette. This transformation not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also allows the unique personality of the family to shine through in the decor. The new colors work harmoniously together, ensuring a cohesive flow while maintaining individuality in every room.

Stained brick can significantly impact the aesthetic of your living room fireplace. It’s important to note that while many consider painting brick for a fresh look, it can lead to complications. Brick is a porous material, and painting it can trap moisture, leading to mold and damage over time.

The original mood board the clients wanted in this home was white on white. While this palette provides a clean and timeless aesthetic, it can sometimes feel stark and cold. By integrating warm tones and subtle colors, we were able to create a more inviting atmosphere that breathes life into the space.

This transformation showcases the beauty of merging original vision with added warmth and character.

Taking over a commercial space that was originally something else, yet making it your own.

We transformed the dark space into a light and inviting restaurant by retaining the existing floors, which were in good condition. A fresh coat of paint was applied to the walls, including the bulkhead beams, to create a clean and modern look. We even refreshed the stone surfaces with paint, further enhancing the brightness of the area. This approach allowed us to maintain the integrity of the space while significantly elevating its aesthetic appeal. The result is a welcoming atmosphere that invites patrons to enjoy their dining experience in a beautifully renovated environment.
